Genie Technologies, LLC prohibits anyone to use and download the materials at this Web site for commercial purposes.  We authorize use or download of such material for your personal, non commercial use, provided that you retain all copyright and other proprietary notices contained in the original materials on any copies of the materials. You may not modify the materials at this Site in any way or reproduce or publicly display, perform, or distribute or otherwise use them for any public or commercial purpose. For purposes of these Terms, any use of these materials on any other Web site or networked computer environment for any purpose is strictly prohibited. The materials in this Site are copyrighted and any unauthorized use of any materials in this Site may violate copyright, trademark, and other laws. If you breach any of these Terms, your authorization and rights to use this Site automatically terminates and you must immediately destroy any downloaded or printed materials.

Genie Technologies Return Policy:

  1. Returns:
    Any customer wishing to return a product must apply for a RMA number within 5 business daysof receipt of product. Returns of product, other than with defect (used Laptop battery not included), are subject to a 20% restocking fee or prevailing market rate as determined by GENIE TECHNOLOGIES. Refunds will be issued within 3-5 business days upon receipt of product.
  2. $55.00 Flat Rate Service Fee on working parts:
    Any items sent back for warranty repair must have been tested for failure – BY A QUALIFIED TECHNICIAN– prior to returning the part.
  3. Please Give Details:
    Please be as specific as possible when listing the reason for return. This will assist us in making a correct determination of whether the product is truly defective.
  4. “Damaged Products:
    Any “dismantled”, “marked on” or “visibly defaced” product by the customer will VOID all warranties.
  5. Fitness of Purpose:
    GENIE TECHNOLOGIES cannot warrant any product as fit for any particular use or purpose. We strongly recommend customers evaluate a sample unit to determine by their criteria whether a product will work in their configuration. In the world of computers there are many products that may be incompatible with a certain part. In cases like this it is your responsibility to determine the compatibility of the product into a standard application in which the part will work. We are unable to take parts back because they will not work in a particular brand product if they function correctly in others.
  6. RMA Number Must Be Marked on the Outside of Box:
    To get your RMA number, please call us at 703-372-1270 x1010 or email to support@genietech.com. RMA number must be clearly marked on the outside of the shipping box. Please include a printed copy of the RMA paperwork on the inside of the box. Customer is responsible for all shipping costs to GENIE TECHNOLOGIES.
  7. Pack Returns Carefully:
    Customers must pack defective items being returned as if they were new and working. Failure to do so may invalidate both the RMA and the warranty. GENIE TECHNOLOGIES is not responsible for goods that are damaged during shipment or misused/abused by the customer/carrier.
  8. Send RMAs to:

  9. Expiration of RMA numbers:
    RMA numbers are valid for 7 days after being issued. GENIE TECHNOLOGIES must receive product within this time period.
  10. Out of Warranty Items:
    Items sent to GENIE TECHNOLOGIES that are OUT OF WARRANTYwill be returned to customer at customer’s expense.
  11. Credit Issued on Defective Products:
    Should a replacement for a defective item not be available, at GENIE TECHNOLOGIES discretion a suitable replacement shall be issued. If a suitable replacement is not available within 30 days from the receipt of your RMA, GENIE TECHNOLOGIES will issue a credit. If purchased by credit card a credit will be posted to your credit card. If paid by check or money order, a check will be issued. RMA credits are for product only and do NOT include any reimbursement for shipping charges. This does not apply to used laptop batteries. Used laptop batteries are not warranteed.
  12. This Return policy must be signed and included in the Box with the returned item(s). Failure to do so could delay processing of your return up to 30 days.
  13. Operating System:
    We are not responsible for any software loaded on the equipment by the customer and do not guarantee that any software that may be loaded will be compatible with the equipment. Check with the software manufacturer for compatibility before purchasing. No operating system will be included on used computers unless there is a certificate of authenticity and customer agrees to a $25.00 install fee.
  14. Personal Data:

GENIE TECHNOLOGIES will not be held responsible for loss of personal data. It will be the customers sole responsibility to back up any such files.

Please contact us at 703-592-9111 or email hfawaz@genietech.com  prior to order being shipped if you decide to cancel. Shipping is usually done within 3 business days.

 

LIMITED WARRANTY
Warranties may be limited on some items. Please check the item description and your invoice to verify the warranty is as expected.

Replacement RMA items will be shipped back to customers via UPS Ground only.
